I honestly can’t tell if this is sarcastic or not
This is a shitposting sub
Its not. I did not know what Hitler did until today and now my day is ruined
You’re one of today’s unlucky 10,000.
Its rare I see an old new-to-me XKCD that’s that good.
Oddly apropos
Not to be rude but that means either you are a grade schooler or home schooled or just never went to school at all no? I feel like you cant spend more than 2 days on the internet without stumbling upon some part of the history of WW2.
That’s the joke. Lmfao.
First someone asks if this is sarcastic
You say it’s not
Then someone says you must have been home schooled Or never have gone to school to not know this
And you reply that’s the joke.
So which is it? You knew or you didn’t?
Bro it’s not that deep. We’re in a shitposting community

As you look at your down votes I think something else will become clear.
What happened to today? Are you a student?
You know what, I guess everyone learns about this at some point. In Germany we get, understandably, very well educated on the bad stuff, so no one makes these mistakes again. But I suppose in other places, people never even hear about WW2 their whole life
Looking at current AfD votes that whole learning from mistakes thing didn’t work out that well.
It gets worse the more you look into it.
Sorry to pile on but now compare the far right US Republican rhetoric to Hitler’s talking points.

“My mom used to be a Holocaust denier until I took her to the Holocaust museum at Auswitz. Now she can’t believe it’s only happened once.” - Anthony Jeselnik
…
Anthony should probably take his mom to some other Holocaust museums. Pretty sure the one in DC has displays for other genocides. I can appreciate the irony that a Hitler quote about how people forgot about the Armenian Genocide is one of the reasons it stays in the public consciousness.
Famous amateur painter.
Didn’t he make a couple movies
Several of the greatest movies ever made 100% wouldn’t exist without his work. Schindler’s List, The Pianist, Saving Private Ryan, and The Thin Red Line are just a few of the films he made possible. Say what you will about his various indiscretions, but the man loved the arts.
Yeah, that moustache ruined my Lemmy feed

Odd looking duck, but there’s something about his eyes
