Lab grown meat already exists. The same processes could easily make human meat without harming the human.
I’m fairly certain this will at some point lead to a social media fad of people trying, well, people. It seems like every possible stupid action has already been turned into one at this point https://eu.app.com/story/news/world/2024/03/07/what-is-tiktok-chroming-trend/72879475007/
Onlyfans creators already sell stuff like toenail clippings and bathwater https://kotaku.com/belle-delphine-onlyfans-paypal-pornhub-bath-water-1851491916
Wouldn’t be difficult to imagine people buying meat made of their favourite creator. What they do with it is between them and their god.
“Do you really want to eat Bella Thorne’s ass? Well, for just $19.99 you can fry up a small part of it!”
What stuff was you on when you came up with this revelation?
I’d just had a cousin burger
but most importantly, did you inject or snore
Asleep all night, snoring drugs.
Inject drugs by day, snore by night. All day.
I’d just eaten a cousin burger
Armin Meiwes went vegetarian I just checked.
I keep mixing up Armin Meiwes and Armin Meiwald. Really unfortunate coincidence that their names are so similar yet what they’re known for is so different.
He’s a children’s author, oof 😆
Slightly different life choices between the two.
Not only an author but the co-creator and original host of Die Sendung mit der Maus, Germany’s longest-running and most popular educational show for children.
He was always very oddly into ethical consumption.
Very
Unfortunately I think Bella Thorne has stopped doing only fans :,(
I have no idea who she is, I just Googled popular Onlyfans creators because I didn’t want to reference the only one I knew again which was Belle Delphine.
I commend your commitment to keeping the bit fresh
Thank you, it just felt right
This kind of concept is in Brandon Cronenbergs’ film Antiviral
Maybe someone who understands science way better than me can answer this, but would it be possible to grow a whole human body using the meat growing process? If so, you could buy a living sex doll of your favourite celebrity.
Currently not. Lab grown meat is a more or less homogeneous mass of muscle fiber. A few years we could only make what is essentially minced meat, now we’re getting closer to entire steaks. Still far away from growing specific muscle groups, organs, bones and skin.
Damn. Still incredible stuff though.
How about recreating genital tissue?
BONK
(You are aware that lab-grown meat is still meat and not an independent organism, right? It’s essentially dead and would rot within hours if kept at room temperature)
Yea. Freeze it, thaw it, microwave it, “use” it, dispose of it.
I’m not actually planning on doing any of that, just talking about what is and isn’t theoretically possible.
You’ve got to refrigerate it and keep it in the “Sta-Fresh” pack until ready for use.
I mean i theory we can clone mammals, the problem is it would take a long while for your “buddy” to grow up to a usable size
The problem with cloning would also be that a clone of a human is a human with all rights and limitations, the “buddy” would be a slave.
Not after a lobotomy
Performing a lobotomy to a human sounds highly illegal in itself, but as far as I know are lobotomized humans still humans with all human rights.
Well, that’s fair enough, but i think we already abandoned legality of the whole operation at the “growing entire human body” part
I don’t think that there is a legal issue with that, as long as only a lifeless body is grown
What you are talking about is cloning yourself a rape slave. That is horrific.
No, that isn’t true at all.
I’d be totally happy if the “clone” was dead or completely non-sentient. Happier in fact…
The problem is that the lab-meat probably wouldn’t taste the same as the human-meat. I’m reasonably confident that the (minimum) 18 years of living the OF person would have to do impacts and changes the quality and taste of flesh.
It’s possible that the lab-meat would taste like the OF person did when they were a baby… but that opens a whole new door of moral and ethical and legal issues.
Maybe, but the fact that it’s genetically the same would be the main selling point.
People into vore are about to feast!
Literally! And literally!
Why bother just make a brainless clone and put an ai in it. Its not human so it has no rights?
There will no doubt be a line of the wealthiest people selling their sole for a profit.
I don’t think this is what was implied when we said to “eat the rich”, though. Or “bootlicker” and “ass kisser”.
…selling their sole for a profit.
Ah, I see what you did there.
It’s the only true vegan meat - given with consent.
There was that artist back in the early 2000s who made caviar from her own eggs.
I’d eat a Bell Delphine burger. I wouldn’t spend my own money on it, but I feel like that’d make for a fun story.
Pretty sure it would be considered cannibalism and made illegal
I’m pretty sure cannibalism is already legal in the United States. The problem is you can’t legally acquire human meat.
Prion City here we GOOOOOOOOO!
Where are the infectious prions coming from if it is lab grown meat? There should be the same risks with any other lab grown meat then, because prions are not something special to only human meat.
I don’t think cannibalism is illegal in many places, the problem with it is acquiring the meat.
