You need downers to ride the uppers and get that perfect drug fueled circadian rhythm going.

Energy drinks during the day and a nice indica bong/dab rip, edible, or blunt in the evening.

Warning: If things have escalated to cocaine/meth/adderall to go up and opiates and a handy from the local masseuse to go down, you’re probably riding the rhythm too hard.

/s please take care of yourself!

Me actually. I take vyvanse to manage my ADHD and it is one of the few medications that has legitimately helped in a major way. 2 problems though; I struggled with bouts of insomnia before taking vyvanse and for whatever reason most medications last longer for me than they do for others. So about a year into using vyvanse my partner assures me that yes my insomnia has gotten much worse and I need to do something about it before it actually kills me. So for about 6 months now I have been working with my doctor to get some sleep meds bc mind you I do NEED the vyvanse (or a extended release stimulant of some kind) in order to function in this society. In these 6 months I was perscribed 2 sleep meds. One of them made me pass out really quick but it was nearly impossible to get out of bed in the morning and I felt like I had brain fog for hours. The second one was basically fucking melatonin (it was an analog known as ramelteon) and it made it harder to sleep if anything at all.

So anyway know I smoke weed almosy nightly. Sleep like a baby but I will admit it does occasionally interfere with my responsibilities lol

    Energy drinks are counter intuitive.

The first thing to understand is there is no such thing as a “sugar rush” in the sense of gaining a burst of energy. The crash though, is very real.

Your body has not evolved to process that much sugar, so it tries to store it, which itself is energy intensive, so consuming large amounts of sugar will make you lethargic.

If you need the burst of energy in the morning, drink black coffee. You’ll learn to love it as your palette develops.

As a caffeine connoisseur, the “high end” energy drinks designed as pre-work out are all sugar free to prevent the terrible crash & stored sugar energy reserves. Was a night and day difference when I switched.

Bang, Reign, & C4 are the dedicated brands, Rockstar X-Durance is another popular one.

I like NOS, personally. But it bugs me so much how their sugar free version isn’t just sugar free; it’s also a completely different flavor and tastes horrible. The normal version tastes like nectarines or something. The sugarless one tastes like orange juice that’s been carbonated but with nothing to cut through the bitterness of the carbonic acid.

Bang, yes. The Rockstar X-Durance, specifically. The thing to look for is them being sugar free & having 300mg of caffeine in a can. That’s “high end” compared to Monster, Red Bull, etc.

Me: I’ve cut my coffee intake down to one cup a day! Look how disciplined and restrained I am!

Also me: drinks 1.5 cans of Celsius per day

    ADHD would like a word.

Just watch me insert caffeine straight into my veins and also take a nap within 10 minutes.
